Social Worker – Safeguarding / Court Team (Permanent)
Location: Northampton, Northamptonshire
Salary: £40,369 – £43,686 (package up to £49,686)
Golden Hello: £6,000
Contract: Permanent
Pro Social Partners are working with Northamptonshire Children's Trust to recruit permanent Social Workers into both their Safeguarding and Court teams.
The Role
- Manage a caseload of children subject to Child in Need and Child Protection plans.
- Undertake Section 47 enquiries, assessments and direct work with children and families.
- Prepare reports and present at child protection conferences and core group meetings.
- Work closely with partner agencies to reduce risk and improve outcomes for children.
- Keep children's voices at the centre of all assessment and planning.
- Court Team roles: manage care proceedings and PLO, writing court statements and giving evidence.
About You
- A recognised Social Work qualification and current Social Work England registration.
- Post-qualifying experience in child protection and/or care proceedings.
- Sound knowledge of Working Together to Safeguard Children and statutory processes.
- Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills.
